Bible Bucks Charity Info
The Bible Bucks program was started to motivate children toward active participation in worship and Sunday school activities. Children are rewarded with Bible Bucks when they participate in specific activities such as participating in worship and Sunday school, memorizing scripture, meaningful journal entries, etc. Children are able to use their Bible Bucks to purchase items in the Bible Buck store which include items like snacks and toys.
Starting in 2021, the Bible Bucks store also includes items that children can “purchase” that would be gifts donated to various charities locally and around the world. Most of these groups are faith based organizations with a commitment to meeting the people’s spiritual as well as physical needs. We hope this opportunity will help our children develop generosity and compassion for those in need.
However, in order for these “purchases” to actually be funded, we need the help of DCCC members to donate towards the “Children’s Ministry Outreach – Bible Bucks” account. Donations can be included in the general offering with a note or simple notation on a check’s memo line indicating amount designated to the CM Bible Bucks program.
