Pastor Mondy Chen came to accept Jesus Christ as his savior at an early age. God has been kind and gracious to him. He began his career at a nuclear power plant in Taiwan where he worked for 10 years before moving to the United States to study Computer Science.  He later received God’s calling to devote his life to the Christian ministry and preach the Word of God. He completed his studies at the Chicago Moody Bible Institute and the Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Texas.

It was at the Moody Bible Institute where Pastor Mondy met his now wife, Grace. The two continue to serve the Lord together.  Grace has her degrees in Theology and Psychology. She is a gifted marriage and family therapist. Mondy and Grace have one daughter who is currently working in San Francisco. Pastor Mondy focuses on family and marriage.

Pastor Mondy assumed the role of Mandarin pastor for DCCC in 2003. In the years since, he has continued to receive abundant grace from God, as well as experience the love of fellow brothers and sisters, in the journey to advance the gospel together.

It is Pastor Mondy’s hope that you will join God’s family so you may receive a spiritual home and the eternal life in Jesus Christ who is the Great Shepherd. He will protect, guide, strengthen, and bless you.
